Dear Loved One,
As I sit here in my favorite chair during my morning coffee and meditation time :), I am reminiscent of where God pulled me from and thankful for where I am going. You see, our life here on this earth is but a puff of smoke, a mist, a vapor… here today and gone tomorrow. Therefore, we must live life to the fullest each and every day.
I put the emphasis here on the word “live”, because so many of us today are simply just entertained. What do I mean? Well, if you are a parent, you are entertained by your kids activities; a professional is entertained by their job; a young person is entertained by their friends; and so on and so forth. While these things can be comical at times, that’s not the point I am trying to make here. We must learn how to live, and in living we must die: die to self and live to God. Life (and church) is full of things to entertain us… but what are you living for? There must be a purpose… what’s yours?
I pray you have ears to hear what the Spirit of the Lord is saying,
